Dang, that was a seriously solid demo!

The horror dungeon crawler vibes were executed very well.

Lots of feedback in my gameplay, I grew up on Dungeon Crawlers too

I discovered Dungeon Crawlers with Grimrock."Deep within" have a good ambiance like in "Grimrock" or "Anvil of Dawn" or maybe "paper sorcerer"(even if it's an modern hybrid with turn by turn fights, and with a lot of humour). Does the old dungeon crawlers style games have most of the time a pretty dark fantasy atmosphere? Sorry but this one is too frigthening for me, too well done, i don't want to finish like Lovecraft's Characters :).

This was really really good! I wish there was more of it to get stuck into! I really like the Dungeon Crawler mechanics, it adds a certain amount of tension as you've got no idea if something could be behind you until it's too late. Really good work!

Very nicely done!

Wow! Thank you so much, we are so glad you enjoyed our little game :) Since you found the Eastereggs, these are the projects of our fellow students, you can check out at: https://s4g.itch.io/
Maybe you want to give them a go as well!

The visuals and background noises create a quite creepy atmosphere suitable to the horror genre! I like to explore and fear whats waiting for me behind the next corner. I sometimes felt a bit lost where to go because a lot of things looks familiar...even though there weren't many options lol.

I missed the screw driver a couple times and got slurped out of my pants. Wonder why I can't use my fist at least ^^

I feel like the fixed camera is not the best choice. The running is smooth but I could imagine a more free look could be cool and can change the monsters weakspots more freely. But maybe it's just I'm used to the controls you have in shooters like Metro2033.

So...when can I get deeper? ;)

Thanks a lot for the throughout feedback!
The corridors indeed are very similar optically, unfortunately we only had one 3D Environment Artist to build it all.

We tried to make sure that the Wrench wasn't hard to miss, it definitely took us some tweaking, we didn't want to make it too obvious (and hence too easy), fists were implemented, but eventually removed because of balancing reasons.
A locked camera is really something unusual to get used to, overall we kinda wanted to stick to the classical Dungeon Crawlers way of input and moving around :)

Hopefully we will find the time to implement the additional levels in our free time, at least that's something we are planning to do!

Is the game finished and needs no more updates?

Yes is finished! Have Fun!

The first level is finished. However, me might update the Game in the future, since this is a students project and we only had a restricted time-frame of what we could do. We definitely plan to add additional content in the future and not abandon the project :)
